DRASH (Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelters)

DRASH is a soft skinned shelter system comprised of a geodesic TITANITE frame, internal & external XYTEX covers, groundsheet, material floor and transit bag. DRASH is capable of being deployed in minutes by as few as four people without assembly or special tools. DRASH is lightweight with low packed volume (2% of deployed size) for efficient transportation. There are 43 shelter models within the DRASH family and all shelter models are capable of being interconnected to provide a modular and flexible working area. DRASH is currently deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan and in other harsh environments by American, British, Spanish, Austrian, Australian, Italian, Turkish and French Armed Forces. The shelters are being used in a variety of roles by the military and disaster relief agencies.
