AFCEA West Detailed Info

Dear STAR-TIDES Colleagues,
Thank you so much for your interest in TIDES. We look forward to working with you this weekend in San Diego at the AFCEA West 2008 conference.

Here is some important information:
Where and When: TIDES will take place at booth #145 - top left hand corner on map- (http://events.jspargo.com/West08/public/floorplan.aspx?Mapid=14) - at the San Diego Convention Center (http://www.sdccc.org/maps/). Registration (IMPORTANT!!): If you have not registered yet, please do so at: https://reg.jspargo.com/west08/reg/reg10info.asp?caller=default . In the company/command section, you can put: STAR-TIDES

Pre-setup: Several of us will be meeting at SDSU Immersive Visualization Lab (5500 Campanile Drive, MC-1020, San Diego State University, San Diego, CA) on Sunday, Feb 2nd at 3pm to prep materials for the hexayurt and other shelters. Set up and bringing materials to the convention center : We will meet at the Loading Dock behind the Convention Center off of 8th Avenue at 7:45am on Monday, Feb 3rd. We must enter from the loading docks. Someone from the Teamster Union will greet us. They'll unload the vehicles and bring our items to our booth. We'll be setting up most of the day on Monday, Feb 3rd and aim to be finished by early afternoon.

Dress Codes: TIDES T-shirt, TIDES Ball Cap, Khakies, Sneakers/shoes. We will hand out TIDES caps and t-shirts at AFCEA. We are very short on t-shirts so if you own a t-shirt, please bring it along with any extras you may have.
